Tell us about your family.
Working at SRCS is a family affair for the Nelsons! My husband is Mr. Caleb Nelson, who teaches high school history, and my mother-in-law is Mrs. Donna Nelson, who is the Director of Admissions. My husband and I have two sons, Henry and Spencer, and a daughter, Jane.
What are your interests outside of work?
On the weekends you will find me watching Florida State football, playing with my kids, and - if it's not rainy or cold - going to the beach! I also love to restore furniture, craft, and read a good book.
What do you most enjoy about your job?
I love this job because I love high school students! I love seeing them get excited about discovering their gifts and talents, and getting a grasp on the idea that God has a plan for each of them to glorify His kingdom in vastly different ways. It's a snapshot of the Creator in all of His children, and I'm so thankful to get to see it.
