Tell us about your family.
My husband, Gary, and I have been married since 1989. We have been blessed with five children and three grandchildren.
What's a favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories was taking a cross country trip. When I was 14 years old, my parents took my brothers, my sister, and me across the United States on a month-long vacation. We camped or stayed with family and friends as we made our way from New York to California touring many of America's famous sites.
Why did you become a teacher?
I have wanted to be a teacher ever since I was a little girl playing school in the basement of my parents' house.
What are your interests outside of work?
In my free time I love spending time with my family. I also enjoy reading and running.
