Tell us about your family.
My family includes my husband, Kevin, whom I met in college. We have been married since 2000 and have two children, Jacob and Alexys, both students at SRCS.
How did you come to SRCS?
When Jacob was about 7 months old, we had been visiting churches and were actually en route to visit a friend's church when instead we pulled into Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church. It only took one visit, and we have been here ever since. Blessings keep pouring out on us while in this place. It didn't take long for me to see that being a bigger part of God's ministry at SRPC would mean getting into the classroom, specifically the preschool.
What do you most enjoy about your job?
I love to see the joy and excitement on children's faces and in their eyes as connections are made with their name, with counting, and becoming early readers.
What are your interests outside of work?
Some of my favorite things to do outside of work are reading, puzzles, board games, and movie night with my family. Some books I recently read include The Boys in the Boat by Daniel James Brown, Hidden Peril by Irene Hannon, and The Common Rule: Habits of Purpose for an Age of Distraction by Justin Whitmel Earley.
