Tell us about your family.
Born and raised in Lecanto, I am the youngest of five children. I am married to my high school sweetheart since 2005, and we have four children.
Why did you become a teacher?
I became a teacher because I love to instruct others in the pursuit of the unknown. We have been created by God to honor Him while discovering and exploring every corner of the universe, and I am honored to help lead and guide the next generation in their quest for knowledge and wisdom.
What is your favorite course to teach, and why?
I prefer to teach the disciplines grounded in both math and science. Mathematics is a precise and perfect endeavor, which is the very tool needed to measure and describe the various fields of science.
Tell us a favorite book or a favorite quote.
"Aim for perfection with the knowledge that it is not attainable." I do not know the source of this quote; I believe I heard it from a Bible study series by Chuck Missler, but this idea is the converse of Zig Ziglar's quote: "If you aim at nothing, you will hit it every time."
