Tell us about your family.
My husband and I have been married since 1998. We have adult twin daughters and a forever 5-year-old in Heaven. We all moved to Florida in 2022 to enjoy the sunshine and try a new adventure. My husband and I became members of Seven Rivers Church, and my daughters have enjoyed visiting there, too. It truly reminds us of our church in Ohio, which was like our second family.

What's a favorite childhood memory?
As a child, I loved to play in the woods in our backyard. We would build forts, play in the creeks, build treehouses, and hang out with our neighbor friends. My beagle was always hanging around with us until my mom would call us in for dinner.

What are your interests outside of work?
I love hot yoga and working out at the YMCA, reading (of course, since I'm an English teacher), kayaking, paddleboarding, and enjoying my dogs and family.

Tell us about a memorable adventure you have experienced.
I love Arizona. My husband and I were thinking of moving there instead of Florida. We went there on a getaway a few years ago. We hiked Sedona and stood on Devil's Bridge, which is a very narrow sandstone bridge that sits over breathtaking red rock formations. We also went to Jerome, Arizona, which is a city up high on a cliff. I love Arizona with its mountains; you can never have enough adventures there.

Tell us a favorite book or a favorite quote.
Isaiah 40:31: "But those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint." This verse has held me up in many of my life's trials.
