Tell us about your family.
I have been married to my husband, Karsten, since 2006, and we have four incredible children: Adelynn, Kaleb, Camille, and David. We are close-knit and love to get outdoors, gather around our table, and watch movies.
Why did you become a teacher?
God made me to teach. My temperament, spiritual gifts, and interests point right at teaching! It brings me joy to work with high schoolers and help them find their voice.
What are your interests outside of work?
I enjoy cooking, reading, writing poetry, outdoor adventures, sports, and discovering new cuisine.
