Tell us about your family.
I am married to a wonderful man of God, and we have three children: Sebastian, Becca, and Olivia. I'm originally from Costa Rica, but I moved to the United States when I was 18 years old.
Who was an influential teacher for you, and why?
I still remember my first grade teacher. She's the reason I became a teacher myself. She went above and beyond for all her students; she taught me to dream big and never give up.
What do you love about SRCS?
I treasure the love my children have for SRCS. My daughter, Becca, recently asked me why school was always such a happy place, and my heart melted. I know God is watching over our kids here.
