Tell us about your family.

I am the oldest of seven children. I live with my wife, Paula, and my mother lives near us in assisted living.

Why did you become a teacher?

I became a teacher because I enjoy working with children. I had a lot of practice with six younger siblings!

What are your interests outside of work?

I love to go fishing! My wife and I enjoy traveling, especially cruises.

What is your favorite course to teach, and why?

Bible! I pastored a small church in Indiana for 26 years, so it feels great to be teaching the Bible again.

What do you love about SRCS?

The Christian atmosphere and all of the love that is felt here makes SRCS a special place.

What is a fond teaching memory?

I love that I have many former students, even as far back as my first year, with whom I still keep in touch through Facebook.
