Tell us about your family.
My wife, Deanne, and I have four children (plus a daughter-in-law and two grandchildren). Our three adult children live in New Jersey. Our youngest, Chase, moved with us to Florida and is a student at SRCS.
What is your favorite course to teach, and why?
I love teaching our Criminal Justice courses. It is a blessing to be able to share my experience with our students and expose them to the many career opportunities in this field.
What do you love about SRCS?
I love the closeness we have with our students. My favorite times are spent with our student-athletes enjoying life together!
What are your interests outside of work?
Sports, camping, and reading. I have been involved in coaching baseball for many years and enjoy coaching basketball as well. At home, we usually have a game on! I love to read and can usually be found with a history book in hand -- even better if it is on Clearwater Beach!
Anything else you'd like us to know about you?
I am on my third career! I spent 12 years working in the Fire Dept./EMS and the last 13 years working in law enforcement, retiring in May 2020. God led our family to SRCS, where I am now a full-time teacher. My favorite Bible verse is Micah 6:8: "He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
