Why did you become a teacher?
I have always loved working with kids. I also love learning. I wanted to be a small part in developing students who want to learn for the purpose of knowing more about who their creator is and, in return, who they are as God's children.
What are your interests outside of work?
I love spending time with my family at baseball games, theme parks, or even playing games at home. I also enjoy reading and cooking.
What do you love about SRCS?
I love the lifelong relationships that are formed here between the students and faculty. I also love watching the interaction between the upper school students and the grammar students on a regular basis through school events.
What is a fond SRCS memory?
I have so many great memories from being a student at SRCS: the field trip to Mrs. Ebert's house, the 5th grade field trip to Tallahassee, and all the games as a student-athlete. I loved going to college volleyball camps and Christmas basketball tournaments. However, one of my favorite memories is winning the school's first ever district championship in varsity softball.
